Fireplace mantel for a local builder.

I was out milling some slabs one day when a neighbor pulled in my driveway and introduced himself. This happens a lot when I'm running the mill; it's a people magnet. His name is Randy Hare, and he's a local builder who runs Hare Construction in the Grand Lake area.

Randy asked me if I could cut him a mantel for his home. I asked for specific dimensions and promised to get back to him as soon as I was done with another order.

It didn't take too long to get his mantel to him. He sealed it and attached it over his fireplace.

I think it turned out awesome!
